Sunday, Oct 19, 2008 I think I slept through September. Did I miss anything? Well, it is time to wake up because... This Friday we are back at The Corner Cafe! During our 30 day slumber we must have left the radio playing and through the magic of hypnopædia we learned two new songs! (Well, actually, two and a half, but we'll spare you that one) In other band news, no one quit, Steve only made two new pedals and Paul only poo-poo'd 20 songs (5 shy of his personal best). Alexi bought new drum sticks (727 size, which is what you get when you just can't decide between 7A's and 5A's, but you already know that) and Stephanie is still hot. Oh, and Paul got us a great gig for next year, but you'll hear more about that later... So, postpone your winter hibernation and come out an join us this Friday for some great food, great friends and, of course, great music! Rock on, The Band
Sunday, Aug 10, 2008 It hasn't rained in Lynchburg in over 3 years. I don't remember if I even have a lawn mower. If I do, it probably doesn't work anymore. The calendar is looking much like my lawn - barren, but with fewer weeds. But, don't despair! The much anticipated gig of the year is fast approaching... Jammin' on the deck at Benjamin's What have we been doing with all of that surplus yard work time you ask? Watching "Dancing With The Stars"? - NO! Building more guitar effect pedals? - NO! (well, maybe. But only a couple) We have been hard at work cranking out new songs, of course. It's hard work, but we do it because we love you. Check them out this Fri. Sunday, May 11, 2008 A couple of new shows have been added to the calendar and a few more are developing. The popularity is going to the band member's heads, or at least their wallets... - Steve custom built a new pedal. Not to get too technical, but it now allows him to, um, er, make more noise. - Paul bought a new pedal (we think he had pedal envy: Paul: 1, Steve: 9). It allows him to make bassier noises, but only if he reads the manual and can figure it out. - Alexi bought a new (to him) drum set. It allows him to look better while making the same noise(s). - Stephanie threatened to buy earplugs if the noise doesn't improve. We have video!
